The United States Polo Association Arena Committee is looking for a business school student or recent graduate to help the committee draft a business plan and a business case for a Professional Arena Polo League. The intern would be expected to build on information from the National Polo League (NPL), and the American Polo League (APL), both high-goal pro polo leagues from the 1980s and 1990s. The arena committee is looking to build a multi-city, professional arena polo league for the 21st century. To this end, the committee is seeking help from the polo and business community! An ideal job for a college student or recent graduate who has/is majoring in a business field, or for an intercollegiate polo player looking to get class credit and help grow the sport. This is a several month project to interview the players and promoters from the APL/NPL, research professional sports leagues and work with the USPA Arena Committee to write a business case and business plan for a USPA Arena League. This will be a contract position for a fixed fee, with travel expenses as needed starting January, 2017.
