The USPA Polo Network is adding approximately 35 games to the overall schedule in 2024. With the new year on the horizon, the USPA is pleased to announce that all livestreamed and on-demand games will once again be broadcast free of charge by the USPA Polo Network. Livestreamed games will be available on uspolo.org as well as across multiple USPA social media platforms including Facebook, X and YouTube. On-demand programming will be available to stream on YouTube and the uspolo.org Video page within 48 hours of the event conclusion.
In 2024, the number of livestreams will increase from about 70 games to over 100, including all Sunday featured matches on U.S. Polo Assn. Field One at the National Polo Center (NPC) from December through April. Additionally, all Gauntlet of Polo games at NPC in the C.V. Whitney Cup, USPA Gold Cup and U.S. Open Polo Championship will be broadcast. The 22 total tournaments showcased on the USPA Polo Network throughout the year will feature diverse content including high-goal, medium-goal, low-goal, women’s, arena, Intercollegiate/Interscholastic and youth polo. A new addition to the livestream roster, the National President’s Cup, will debut at NPC in April uniting some of the most talented 8-goal teams in the nation.
2024 programming will continue to feature real-time score graphics and stats during broadcasts, providing audiences with a thorough perspective of each game. The inclusion of horse lists and featured horses allow for fans to follow their favorite horses throughout the season. Viewers can also expect to see expanded tournament histories detailing previous years’ winners and the chronicling of player progression in each tournament.
Livestreams are also expected to feature more interactive commentary, including real-time comments from live audiences through the USPA’s social media channels. Player interviews will also be elevated during commercial breaks for fans to experience more behind-the-scenes content of their favorite players and teams.
The USPA Polo Network is offering advertising opportunities to help bring businesses to the polo community and extend the reach of brands to sports fans around the world. 30-second commercial slots are available, as well as presenting sponsorship space. Interested parties should contact Executive Director of Communications, Matt Baran, at mbaran@uspolo.org for more information.
