The USPA is excited to welcome Jose Nino to the VP of Global Digital Strategy for USPA Global Licensing Inc. (USPAGL). Nino comes to USPAGL after serving as Vice-President of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing at Perry Ellis International bringing with him years of digital and e-commerce experience from the apparel industry. Nino has expertise in managing global enterprise-wide e-commerce and digital strategies as well as a strong track record of growing top-line revenue while also building brand awareness.
While at Perry-Ellis, Nino worked with multiple brands and licensees globally implementing both e-commerce and digital strategies with key partners. He has worked with many well-known global brands such as Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, Calloway Golf, Nike Golf and PGA Tour. Under his leadership, his portfolio of brands achieved almost 30% e-commerce growth on an annual basis. Nino also implemented social media strategies to maximize the investment behind consumer targeting and social influencers. Additionally, he initiated online strategies working with large third party pure plays such as Amazon to improve productivity and drive business.
Nino received the 2015 President’s Award, the highest honor given to an employee at Perry Ellis. Prior to Perry Ellis, he spent time at Cosabella Fashion as well as Estilonet, Mundonet and Casa & Estilo Magazine. He has also been a featured speaker at numerous events discussing e-commerce and digital marketing and earned his MBA and undergraduate degree from Florida International University
Nino will be accompanying USPAGL CEO J. Michael Prince on several upcoming marketplace visits to share strategies around digital and e-commerce initiatives USPAGL is executing globally. USPAGL will also share the tremendous results as the brand continues to build momentum in the social media, digital, and e-commerce area.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
