USPA Member Clubs are encouraged to apply for the newly Board of Governor approved national tournaments listed below that are available to be awarded for 2021. Applications will be open until Monday, November 9.

Allied Services Cup

(National Arena Event)

  • Required that all players shall have served in the military of any country to participate (active duty, retired, honorable discharge).
  • If there is an insufficient number of players meeting this criterion, a military family member of any country can then participate.
  • If available, a USPA staff member shall be appointed by the Host Club to the Host Tournament Committee for this event.
  • The Armed Forces Committee is encouraged to specify additional conditions that will maximize participation in the event.
  • This tournament qualifies participants to accrue individual points towards National Arena Amateur Cup standings.

National General George S. Patton Jr. Cup

(National Outdoor Event)

  • Required to have at least one military member of any country on each team (active duty, retired, honorable discharge, family member of military member or spouse).
  • If all players meet the required military member tournament condition, those that have actually served have priority over spouse or family member.
  • Any player participating in a Circuit General George S. Patton Jr. tournament (outdoor) or a Circuit General S. Brown tournament shall qualify to play, as an individual, in the National General George S. Patton Jr. Cup. Points will accrue as determined annually by USPA Staff.
  • If available, a USPA staff member shall be appointed by the Host Club to the Host Tournament Committee for this event.

Applications may be entered electronically through the Tournament Database and will be open until Monday, November 9. The USPA offers several benefits for hosting a USPA National tournament including awards provided for the winners and runners-up, a customized Best Playing Pony sheet, promotional assistance provided through electronic mail, web and social media, and umpire reimbursement through USPA Umpires, LLC. Additionally, winners will be published in the USPA Blue Book.
