WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 8, 2018) — U.S. Polo Assn. and Phoenix Fashion Week announce their collaboration at the 8th Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships. This unique, two-day event is a mixture of lifestyle and polo, interchanging competition with exciting consumer events such as concerts, food tastings and a much-anticipated fashion show—all of which will prominently feature U.S. Polo Assn.
The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships will feature appearances from U.S. Polo Assn. global brand ambassadors Ashley Busch and Juan Bollini, Jr., as well as other polo headliners such as Nacho Figueras, and Kareem Rosser. All players will wear the U.S. Polo Assn. logo on their jerseys, with additional logo presence in the third annual World’s “Longest” Catwalk fashion show, produced by Phoenix Fashion Week on November 10. U.S. Polo Assn. will outfit 10 models in polo whites and polo brights to represent its summer collection. Additionally, U.S. Polo Assn. will offer in-store promotions and ticket giveaways with in-store purchases at partnering stores to drive consumer attention to the event.
"I’m thrilled to be playing in the 8th Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships again this year,” said Ashley Busch, polo player and Global Brand Ambassador for U.S. Polo Assn. “This is one of my favorite polo events to participate in, it always draws in a dynamic crowd from around the world. As the global brand ambassador of U.S. Polo Assn., it is exciting to be able to showcase where fashion and the sport collide.”
“The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships represents the merging of the sport of polo with player lifestyle off the field, which truly embodies the U.S. Polo Assn. brand,” said J. Michael Prince, President and CEO of USPA Global Licensing. “We are thrilled to be an ongoing collaborator for this much anticipated event and are eager for attendees to see how the brand’s stylish attire translates both on and off the polo field.”
The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships is one of the most highly anticipated polo events in the United States, with an avid following, and draws crowds exceeding 13,000, including a large collegiate millennial following.
