The Cartier Queen's Cup hosted by Guards Polo Club in the heart of Windsor Great Park, England, is officially underway! One of the most important events of the English high-goal season, the prestigious tournament began on Tuesday, May 21 and will run until Sunday, June 16, with a total of 19 teams participating.

For the first time in the tournament’s history, the competition features a father-daughter competing together in La Dolfina/Scone’s Adolfo and Mia Cambiaso. Adolfo, winner of a record 10 Queen's Cups, will face off against his biggest opposition- his son Poroto and La Dolfina Great Oaks, who are the favorite after recently claiming the Talacrest Prince of Wales Championship Cup.

Adding to the family dynamic, Adolfo's nephews, Bartolome Castagnola Jr. and Camilo “Jeta” Castagnola, will be playing for Desert Palm Polo Team and Dubai Polo Team respectively. Reigning Queen’s Cup victors Polito Pieres and Alejandro Muzzio will try to repeat as champions for Talandracas Polo Team.

Four 10-goalers will participate this season, including Jeta Castagnola and Polito Pieres. Hilario Ulloa will play for Park Place, with Facundo Pieres competing alongside his brother Gonzalo Pieres for Black Bears.

King Charles has proudly accepted to preside over The Queen’s Cup, following in the footsteps of his father Philip of Edinburgh, who founded the club and served as president for 66 years.
