The Texas Arena League (TAL) is galloping into its eighth year of competition in 2025, with continued expansion and new opportunities for arena polo enthusiasts. Spanning across the Lonestar State, TAL’s four host sites include Brookshire Polo Club (Brookshire, Texas), Legends Polo Club (Kaufman, Texas), Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center & Arena (Hays Country, Texas) and San Antonio Rose Palace (San Antonio, Texas).
Featuring six weekends of arena polo starting at the end of January through March, TAL will host a range of diverse competition including beginners in the C Flight, a B Flight for 0 to -1 handicapped players, 0-4 goal, 3-6 goal and 6-9 goal. New for 2025, TAL has added an 8- to 12-goal level. The original four weekend TAL Classic format includes all five divisions, while the additional two weekends of the Armadillo Division include B Flight, 0-4 goal and 8-12 goal.
The 2025 TAL season will feature three USPA national tournaments and several USPA circuit events, thanks to the participation of multiple host clubs including Legends Polo Club, Brookshire Polo Club, Texas Military Polo Club (Poteet, Texas), Oak Bend Farm (Ledbetter, Texas) and San Antonio Polo Club (San Antonio, Texas). The season highlights include the National Arena Chairman’s Cup, National Arena Delegates Cup and National Arena Bronze Cup.
Over the years TAL has grown into the arena largest polo event in the United States outside of the Interscholastic/Intercollegiate program. TAL’s popularity continues to grow due to solid competition, exceptional host locations, strong camaraderie and impressive prizes.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
