The Palm Beach Illustrated/Technogym team caught the attention of the polo community during the 20-goal season in Wellington, Florida. The young team proved to be a formidable force, overcoming some of the top organizations in the world. The team comprised of Facundo Obregon, Nacho Badiola and Team USPA members Jesse Bray and Jared Zenni won the Joe Barry Cup and made it into the semifinals of the Ylvisaker Cup. Many people credited their incredible success to the “all-pro” team that they were able to form, thanks in large part to the corporate sponsorship of Palm Beach Illustrated and Technogym.
Palm Beach Illustrated has continued their support for young players in the sport, sponsoring another all-pro team for the $50,000 National 12-Goal Tournament at Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida. This very competitive tournament offering major prize money has attracted some of the sport's top players including several up-and-coming young athletes. Four Team USPA members Geronimo Obregon, Jesse Bray, Jared Zenni and Todd Thurston make up the Palm Beach Illustrated team. All young Americans, they are sure to continue to rise in the ranks of polo thanks to supporters such as Palm Beach Illustrated. The polo community will have their eyes on this talented team in the finals of the Grand Champions $50,000 National 12-Goal Tournament after overcoming a tough Tackeria/5 Star Builders team in the semifinals that were played on Thursday, March 10th. The Palm Beach Illustrated team will be playing in finals against Pony Express on March 15th at 3:00pm ET at Grand Champions Polo Club, live streamed on ChukkerTV.
