PORT MAYACA POLO CLUB RELEASES 2025 WINTER SEASON SCHEDULE

Preparations are officially underway for the upcoming season at Port Mayaca Polo Club (PMPC) in Okeechobee, Florida! The winter at PMPC promises a wide range of thrilling polo action including 8 goal, 12 goal, 16 goal and 18 goal, as well as women’s polo at the 10- to 14-goal and 18- to 22-goal levels.

The PMPC tournament season will begin with the return of the 16-goal Heritage Cup, which runs from January 1-5. Other national tournament highlights include the Joe Barry Memorial in early-January (January 6-26) which will serve as one of four qualifying tournaments for the NPC 16-Goal Championship in April, followed by the Butler Handicap slated to begin in mid-February (February 12 - March 9). The finals for all three USPA tournaments will be played at the National Polo Center - Wellington (NPC) in Wellington, Florida.

From February 27 to March 22, PMPC will host a Florida Circuit Regional President’s Cup qualifier, with the winners moving on to compete in the National President’s Cup at NPC in April.

In women’s polo, competitors will have the opportunity to make their mark in The Shady Lady in January (January 16-25) at the 18- to 22-goal level to serve as a lead into the most prestigious women’s tournament in the nation, the U.S. Open Women's Polo Championship (January 26 - February 9), with the final to once again be played on NPC’s U.S. Polo Assn. Field One. The 10- to 14-goal Tabebuia Cup also returns for a second consecutive year as a Women of Wellington (WOW) Medium-Goal Polo League tournament from March 10-29.

Capping-off the season with youth polo, PMPC will host a National Youth Tournament Series Championship Qualifier on April 5.
