This special event will showcase a polo match, divot stomp and live and silent auction.
ATLANTA, Ga., September 5, 2016---The inaugural Pony Up For A Cause Benefit Polo Match brought to you by BMW Atlanta Centers and the Atlanta Regional Polo Center, for the Atlanta Charity Cup will take place on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Gates open at 11:00am ET at the Atlanta Polo Club, 4563 Polo Lane SE in Atlanta, Georgia.
Four teams will compete in the 6-goal USPA sanctioned benefit tournament. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. Preliminary matches played earlier in the week will determine which teams play in the consolation match scheduled to start at 11:00am ET. The top two teams will compete in the featured 6-goal championship match at 1:30pm ET followed by the awards ceremony at 3:00pm ET. Throughout the afternoon there will be a live and silent auction, as well as, a raffle drawing to include a unique item. Information about the event can be found at www.ponyupforacause.org.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
