The American International Polo Foundation (AIPF) is pleased to announce that The Chilean Polo Federation has invited the United States to send players to participate in the 2019 Campeonato Internacional Infantil, (Children’s International Championship).

The event will be held at San Cristobal Polo Club (www.clubdepolo.cl) from February 27 to March 3, 2018. This event is for junior players, divided into two categories 10-12 and 13-14 years old. The teams will be made up of two Chilean players and two foreign players. England, Argentina and other countries have participated. Edward Armstrong, Secretary-Treasurer of AIPF will send an update on who will participate, once the countries have all been invited. This will be the trip of a lifetime for junior players, not only improving their game but building relationships that will last a lifetime.

The Chilean Polo Federation has offered to provide horses, lodging and meals (at Chilean Polo Families homes) and local transportation, at no cost to the players. Teams will be chosen from among all USPA handicapped players in the age categories, listed above.

Final team selection will be made by the AIPF with input and recommendations from the USPA and National Youth Tournament Series Program. Four to six players will be chosen to participate.

With your tax deductible contributions, AIPF will cover round trip airfare to Santiago. Please make your tax deductible donation to support this wonderful opportunity by visiting: http://www.aipf.us/donate.html
