EMPIRE AND BEING THE CHANGE NYTS QUALIFIERS

Feb 20, 2018

Two more National Youth Tournament Series Tournaments (NTYS) are in the books! Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, and Being the Change Polo Club in Phoenix, Arizona, each hosted a NYTS Qualifier over Presidents Day Weekend. Excitement for the NYTS program continues to grow. In addition to the four NYTS National Championship Zone teams, two all-female teams will be selected to compete in the East vs. West Invitational. The NYTS season continues through August 1. Individual players are encouraged to contact their local club to sign up.

The National Youth Tournament Series Program was established to provide youth players the opportunity to compete against their peers in USPA-sanctioned outdoor tournaments. At each qualifier, All-Stars are selected by an appointed committee. All-Stars are then eligible to be selected for one of the four open zone teams or two female regional teams to compete in the NYTS Championships and East vs. West Invitational over Labor Day weekend. The NYTS qualifier has been designed for upper-intermediate to advanced youth players, those capable of holding a minimum of a “B” handicap.
