Nick Rennekamp Stables located in La Grange, Kentucky, will host their 6th annual July Auction, Monday, July 18. Nick Rennekamp has been a polo pony and racehorse trainer for many years. He has also been involved with Team USPA by educating members on green horse training. The stable hosts an auction each year with several polo pony prospects as well as tack and polo vehicles. Basic auction information is listed below. Please visit their website for further information:

  1. Sale will begin at 1:00 p.m on Monday, July 18th.
  2. All horses sold in their “as is” condition; no warranties or guarantees. Horses will be available for inspection and riding (weather permitting) on the Saturday and Sunday before the sale.
  3. Purchasers shall fill out a bidder registration form before bidding. Telephone bids are possible with prior approval.
  4. Payment due day of sale, cash, certified funds or approved check with proper ID.
  5. A 6% sales tax/commission will be added to all purchases.
  6. Bidding on merchandise automatically constitutes acceptance of and agreement to these TERMS OF SALE.
  7. Announcements made the day of Sale take precedence over printed material or prior verbal statements.
  8. The horseshave been purchased from the racetrack, retirement facilities, or private sales. Wherever they have come from, it has been promised "in most cases" to guarantee that they will never go through a horse slaughter sale. Therefore, the same condition will be passed along with the purchase of any of these horses. The purchaser must guarantee that none of these horses will end up in a slaughterhouse.
