Newport Polo (a.k.a. Westchester Polo Club) located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, is seeking candidates for part-time and full-time employment opportunities in 2022 and 2023. Newport Polo presents a unique and continuous forum for international and national polo competition, exhibiting the sport of polo to public audiences of all generations for over 30 years.

Newport Polo is pleased to offer part-time and full-time paid employment opportunities to qualified individuals and welcomes enthusiastic professionals as well as ambitious students seeking valuable resume experience through training and hands-on practice to apply.

Three positions are currently available. They include:

• Brand Manager - A full-time, year-round salaried position with benefits. This position is designed for graduates looking for a career in sports marketing and event management. The position will include public relations, marketing and promotions, sales and operations. The Brand Manager will work directly with the management team for the Newport Polo Club and the acclaimed Newport International Polo Series. • Brand Ambassador - A full-time seasonal paid internship that runs from May through late August / early September. Newport Polo is seeking candidates interested in hands-on experience in sports marketing and event production to gain valuable skills in event public relations, marketing and promotions, sales and operations. The Brand Ambassador will work directly with the management team to experience and assist with all areas of managing the Newport Polo Club. Opportunities for club polo and housing are also available. • Polo Groom - A full-time seasonal position that runs from Saturday, April 1 through Saturday, September 30. Newport Polo is offering employment experiences for candidates pursuing careers in equine management/science with a desire to learn through hands-on experience in a full-service polo organization. This position provides the opportunity to improve horsemanship and farm operation skills in a supportive environment with continued training from Newport’s professional staff.
