Calling all arena players! The U.S. Arena Polo Championship proudly returns to the west coast and will be hosted by California Polo Club (Los Angeles, California) with new dates announced from Saturday, December 9 to Sunday, December 17. Representing the highest level of arena polo competition in the United States at 12- to 16-goals, the prestigious tournament will award up to $100,000 in prize money, subject to an eight-team minimum. Competitors will also receive USPA Polo Network exposure with the semifinals and final livestreamed on uspolo.org and via USPA social media channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and Twitch.

In conjunction with the competition, California Polo Club will also host a charity dinner and fundraiser (date and venue to be announced) for the Polo Players Support Group. A 501 (c)3 organization, the Polo Players Support Group (PPSG) is actively engaged in providing financial assistance to seriously injured or ill players and grooms. Since its inception in 2002, the PPSG has awarded over $3 million to assist 107 members of the polo community.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
