Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, kicked off the 2017 National Youth Tournament Series (NYTS) season with a successful three team two-day tournament held in conjunction with the Polochella youth polo event. Molly Agee, Bayne Bossom, Tommy Costello, Jake Klentner and Athena Malin were named All-Stars. The following weekend, neighboring Eldorado Polo Club hosted an additional three teams for a fun, one day NYTS tournament. Alonso Andrade Cruz, Bayne Bossom, Hope Kerley, Athena Malin and Grant Palmer were added to the growing list of All-Stars for the 2017 season. The NYTS program provides opportunities for youth players under the age of 19 to compete against their peers in grass polo tournaments across the country.
All-Stars are picked at each tournament based on their ability to play at the current handicap, horsemanship, sportsmanship and how they play as a member of the team. At the end of the summer, a team comprised of All-Stars from each of the four zones will be chosen to compete in the NYTS National Championship in Santa Barbara, California. If your club is interested in hosting a NYTS tournament please contact NYTS@uspolo.org for more information.

The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC.
