Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, California, is pleased to announce that they have renewed their agreement with sponsor Goldenvoice for four years, plus an additional four years if both parties agree on the terms. As a result, the club proudly boasts 14 regulation playing fields, stabling for 1,100 horses, and an arena!
The 2023 season will see a similar schedule to last year, with levels ranging from 2- to 12-goals including two national USPA tournaments (National Amateur Cup, Rossmore Cup) along with Pro Pool and the Women's Chukker League. The club will welcome an impressive number of teams for tournaments at all levels, including 11 at the 0- to 4-goal level, six at the 6- to 8-goal level and five at the 9- to 12-goal level. The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
