The Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club cordially invites USPA members to participate in the 2016 Fortune Heights National Cup. The 10-12 goal tournament will take place October 6-7, 2016, in Tianjin, China. The arrival date is Monday, October 3, and departure is set for Saturday, October 8. The Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club looks forward to hosting four visiting polo clubs/teams.
The Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club will provide complimentary horse rental and polo facilities. They politely request that all visitors have respect for the facilities and the horses they will play. Patrons and/or polo players will be responsible for the cost of air travel, visa expenses, hotel accommodation, meals, airport transfers and laundry expenses. Letters of invitation to assist with visa applications can be sent as soon as all team members passport details are received. The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
