Start off the fall season with a competitive national 8 goal! The Regional President’s Cup will begin Saturday, September 11, through Sunday, September 19, at Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Carpinteria, California. Each team will be guaranteed two weekly tournament games with the featured game each Sunday played on the U.S. Polo Assn. Stadium field. The entry fee per team is $10,000. All games will be umpired by USPA Professional umpires and the winning team will receive $2,500.00 in prize money.
For over 100 years, Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club (SBPRC) has provided a world class polo facility for polo sponsors, professionals and amateurs of all levels. Situated between the Carpinteria Foothills and the Pacific Ocean, the club offers an unparalleled location for adrenaline-filled competition.
As of 2020, Regional President’s Cup tournaments held nationwide once again serve as a qualifying tournament for the National President’s Cup. The return of this tournament format will bring together teams representing USPA Member Clubs around the country and restore the relationship between the two trophies. The 2021 National President’s Cup will be once again held at New Bridge Polo & Country Club (Aiken, South Carolina) at the height of the competitive season. The National President’s Cup shall give priority entry to first and second place Regional President’s Cup teams of the same year.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
