The semifinals for the Texas Women's Open at Houston Polo Club (Houston, Texas) started off at breakneck speed with Engel & Volkers Houston (Grace Mudra, Lily Lequerica, KC Krueger, Sarah Wiseman) and Anthonie’s Market Grill/Lockton (Joanie Jackson, Tiamo Hudspeth*, Izzy Parsons, Kendall Plank) battling for the first spot in the final on Sunday, November 14. Anthonie's Market Grill/Lockton's Parsons and Engel & Volkers Houston's Krueger led their teams with a tight grip, aiming to gain a considerable lead but the game remained tied at halftime. Continuing a tight pace of play, Engel & Volkers Houston ultimately came out on top 6-5 to secure their berth into the final.
Rocking P (Bridget Price, Summer Kneece, Mili Sanchez, Maitena Marre) and San Saba's (Dawn Jones, Zoe Cookson, Hope Arellano*, Tiffany Busch) semifinal proved to be an exhilarating second match with all players flying flat out on the field, vying for an early lead. Rocking P found that opportunity leading 4-1 at the half. The efforts of Rocking P's Sanchez and San Saba's Busch as strong captains moved the game along at a breakneck pace. San Saba surged back strong in the second half but it was Rocking P that emerged victorious 5.5-4 to earn their coveted spot in the final.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
