Empire Polo Club located in Indio, California, is pleased to announce their upcoming 2021 winter season. The official “Opening Day & Hat Day” at Empire Polo Club is scheduled for Sunday, January 3, 2021. The final day of the polo season will take place Sunday, March 21, 2021 with the finals of the 4-Goal Lions Cup and 8-Goal Champions Cup. Empire Polo Club offers a competitive 1-Goal League, 4-Goal tournaments, 6- to 8-Goal tournaments, a women’s tournament and arena tournaments throughout the season.
Matches in the 2021 winter season are not open to the general public at this time due to the State of California and County of Riverside COVID-19 guidelines.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
