With expansive mountain views at the east end of the Coachella Valley, Eldorado Polo Club (Indio, California), is a paradise for top polo players from around the world. Since 1957, the club has offered the best conditions to play polo during the winter months and Indio’s perfect daytime temperatures create an idyllic environment to host world-class polo competitions each year from January through March. Eldorado Polo Club's website passionately states, “polo is our only passion at Eldorado, and we invite you to share that passion in our coming season. We look forward to seeing you at the field!”
Graham Bray, manager of Eldorado Polo Club since 2013 continues to contribute to the club’s present-day reputation for competitive polo and world-class fields, sharing, “this year we celebrate our 65th season with 24 teams competing in our various tournaments. Polo is thriving here in the desert. Adding, “we are also seeing a much greater turnout for spectators than we ever have in previous years. Thousands of polo fans are coming out to enjoy the games with us on Sundays. It was great to see our sidelines and clubhouse filled again this season. We have sold out our first two weeks of Sunday polo.”
Drea Salas, Eldorado Polo Club's Marketing & Events Manager, told CLICKPOLOUSA, “there is something for anyone and everyone to play, no matter what your experience or skill level is. Polo in the United States seems to be growing, especially in the last couple of years. We have several new members and Polo Academy students falling in love with the sport.”

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
