The USPA and the USPA National Polo Center are thrilled to announce that in 2025 teams will have the opportunity to enter the U.S. Open Polo Championship in March for the first time. Teams wishing to enter the U.S. Open after the original deadline of Wednesday, November 13, 2024, must submit the supplemental entry form below, along with a late entry fee, by 5:00pm ET on Monday, March 10, 2025.
All teams wishing to enter the entire Gauntlet of Polo must still make a $15,000 deposit per tournament on or before November 13, 2024, and pay the balance of their entry fee(s) on or before Tuesday, January 7, 2025. These deadlines also apply to teams seeking to enter the C.V. Whitney Cup and/or the USPA Gold Cup.
Teams wishing to enter the 2025 U.S. Open only may make a $15,000 deposit on or before November 13, 2024, and pay the $45,000 balance of their U.S. Open entry fee on or before January 7, 2025. Or they may submit a supplemental entry form by the final deadline of 5:00pm ET on March 10, 2025, and pay a late entry fee of $100,000.
Entries in Gauntlet of Polo tournaments, including the U.S. Open Polo Championship, are subject to team limits and priorities that are explained in detail in the relevant entry forms. NPC Polo Operations, LLC reserves the right to decide whether to accept supplemental entries in the 2025 U.S. Open Polo Championship and, if so, how many.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
