On Thursday, September 29, a virtual draw took place for the XII FIP World Polo Championship. The eight teams drew for zone placement and letter placement within their respective zone. Defending champions Argentina and host country USA were automatically placed into separate zones as well as the two Zone C contenders, Italy and Spain, which drew for zone placement.
The schedule below is now updated to reflect the draw. Ticketed events are marked with an asterisk and available for purchase at nationalpolocenter.com and include access to both the Opening Ceremony/Australia vs. USA match on Saturday, October 29 as well as the XII FIP World Polo Championship Final on Sunday, November 6. Matches at Valiente Polo Farm (12044 50th St. S., Wellington, Florida 33449) and non-ticketed matches at the National Polo Center – Wellington are free of charge and open to the public with tailgating available on a first come, first served basis.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
