The USPA is pleased to announce that the 2022 National Arena Amateur Cup (NAAC) Leaderboard is up-to-date and invitations to compete in the 2022 NAAC have now been sent to the highest point individuals. The NAAC will be played at Legends Polo Club in Kaufman, Texas.
It is important to note, however, that while players receive invites to the tournament, there are only 24 spaces for the eight teams. Because of the limited amount of space, once you receive your invitation, please respond as soon as possible to indicate a yes, no or tentative answer. Invitations are sent based on point level, so the tournament has a possibility of coming down to a first-come, first-served basis.
The USPA Tournament and Arena committees launched the NAAC in 2019 with the goal of injecting enthusiasm and competition into the sport of polo for amateur USPA Members. The format of the NAAC creates opportunities to showcase the accessibility of amateur polo and incentivize amateur players to participate longer and more frequently in USPA tournaments, at their home clubs, home circuits and nationally.
The NAAC will be played November 3-6. The National Host Tournament Committee will create the teams to make them as competitive as possible and will then connect teams by email once organized.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
