Dear USPA Member,
The American International Polo Foundation (AIPF) would like you to consider making a donation when you pay your 2019 USPA dues. The AIPF is a 501c3 charitable organization, raising funds to support international amateur polo competition at levels across the USPA Membership at home and around the world.
In 2018, the AIPF through its Steve Orthwein Amateur National Team Fund sent a group of 10- to 14-year-old players to Santiago, Chile, to compete in an international event at the San Cristobal Polo Club and there are plans to invite a Chilean team to the United States in the summer of 2019. International events are an important part of the development of young players as well as a rewarding experience for all players.
Please use the checkoff option on your membership form as you pay your 2019 USPA dues.
Ed Armstrong, American International Polo Foundation Secretary and Treasurer

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
