Review the updated guidelines for some of the most impactful USPA tournament programs, including the Tournament Support Program (TSP), Prize Money Matching Program (PMMP) and Bridge to High Goal Initiative (B2HG). Applications are now open for all of these programs.
Each USPA Member Club can obtain Tournament Support (TSP) benefits for two and in some cases three USPA Events. Tournaments must have a minimum of four teams competing to be eligible. Tournament rosters and play dates must be confirmed two weeks in advance. Benefits include trophies, one Professional Umpire at no cost to the club and $2,500 in prize money to be awarded to the winning team(s). Clubs participating in the PMMP are not eligible for TSP benefits. To take advantage of the TSP program, please apply to host a USPA tournament through the Tournament Database.
Cash out with the 2025 USPA Tournament Prize Money Matching Program (PMMP), which awards up to $25,000 in matching funds for a qualifying tournament. Applications are due no later than two weeks prior to the start of the tournament and will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Bridge to High Goal Initiative (B2HG) was created to support polo between 12 and 16 goals. The goal of the program is to build a bridge from low-goal polo to high-goal polo that provides a safe environment for competition, which will allow for the cultivation of sponsors and the advancement of aspiring professionals. One of the key benefits of this program is that the USPA will provide three USPA Professional Umpires (two mounted officials and one third man) at 50% of the regular cost to the club. Clubs awarded B2HG support also qualify for up to two TSP tournaments or the PMMP.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
