International Polo School (IPS) in Loxahatchee, Florida, is pleased to offer a full calendar of events for the upcoming South Florida winter season. Running from January to April, IPS will proudly host multiple USPA circuit and national tournaments ranging from the 6- to 12-goal level. In February, IPS will once again host a Florida Circuit Regional President’s Cup qualifier, with the winners moving on to compete in the National President’s Cup at the National Polo Center – Wellington (Wellington, Florida) in April.
Always accepting new students, IPS caters to clients of all riding levels looking to advance within the game as well as outside teams eager to compete. The club offers horse rentals, leases and sales, for players interested in planning a weekend trip or looking for a season-long package without having to bring horses. IPS also provides private lessons, simulation training and team practices. The school employs instructors who teach the basics of riding, stick-and-ball techniques and the overall strategy of a four-on-four match.
For more information on IPS tournaments and team entries, please contact Gates Gridley via email, or at 202-232-6935.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
