As a lifelong professional horsewoman with proven experience in selecting, training, and selling horses for polo I am well-positioned to offer considerable value as the Eastern Circuit Governor.
I’ve enjoyed training and selling horses to rated players, as well as students of Red Eagle Polo Training Center, successor of the Potomac Polo School, the oldest continuously operated polo school in the USA. It is a joy to introduce students to the action, excitement, grace, and partnership between horse and rider that touches deep in their soul.
I have played polo in the United States, Argentina, Chile, England, Spain, and Pakistan. I was the first woman to win a National USPA polo tournament (Association Cup 8 Goal). I was captain of the North American team in the first Women’s Snow Polo Championship in Bariloche, Argentina. I have played on numerous winning teams in Circuit and National USPA 4, 6, 8, and 12 goal tournaments. In 2012, I led the Ona Polo Team to the finals in the José O’Neill Ladies Cup, in Figueres, Spain, and returned to Spain in 2014 to compete with my husband in a mixed tournament.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
