As a candidate to be your representative as Circuit Governor of the Pacific Circuit of the USPA I would like to share some thoughts about the sport, my background, experience, and commitment.

Polo Experience
We have been playing at Eldorado and Empire Polo Clubs each winter since 2011. Establishing a home near Eldorado and a winter home for our horses at Deer Creek has sealed our commitment to the circuit and the desert.

I recently joined the Board of Directors at Eldorado Polo Club and have been working hard along with the rest of the Board and the staff to develop plans for a more sustainable future.

USPA
I am currently and for the past four years have been serving on the Audit Committee, which serves to advise the BOG. This has given me insight into the functions of the USPA.

The Circuit
Some of the same sustainability issues and concerns impact clubs throughout the Pacific Circuit. Helping clubs fully access available USPA support programs will be a key priority.

Personal
On a personal level, I am very pleased to be married to Melissa Kelly. She is supportive of polo and the time needed to serve as a club director and in my role with the USPA.

Circuit Governor
Dan “Danny” Walker has quietly dedicated an enormous amount of his time and efforts in the furtherance of the sport of polo. His service as Circuit Governor, Handicap Chairperson, and on the Finance and Executive Committees of the USPA are just a few examples of his commitment.
