I have been involved in the sport of polo for almost 30 years playing 2-10 goal. Growing up in a family of polo players starting with my grandfather, Tom Chandler and my father Greg Chandler, I have had great experiences playing the game as a family. My dad bought me my first polo pony when I was four years old, and I’ve been on the hook ever since.
I’ve played all over the United States as well as a few foreign countries, playing I/I with Culver Military Academy for four years of high school and always with my home club in Indianapolis Indiana.
I am currently the owner and president of Hickory Hall Polo club, which largely specializes in low goal polo and charity matches throughout the entire summer season. My family and I reside in Lebanon, Indiana and I’m hoping my three year old son will be joining me on the field soon.
Effective Date: Saturday, May 16, 2020
The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
