REGIONAL PRESIDENT'S CUP
Tournament History
Regional President’s Cup tournaments held nationwide have served as a qualifying tournament for the National President’s Cup since 2020. Encouraging participation at the 4- to 8-goal level, the return of this original tournament format will bring together teams representing USPA Member Clubs around the country and restore the relationship between the two trophies. The 2021 National President’s Cup will be held at New Bridge Polo & Country Club (Aiken, South Carolina) at the height of the competitive season. The National President’s Cup gives priority entry to first and second place Regional President’s Cup teams.
In 2020, Copperline Farm (Ben Ketchum, Justin Daniels, Milo Dorignac, Gaston Lisioli) used a strong second half to defeat Kyne Property Group (Martha Bennett, Armando Huerta, Leo Mandelbaum, Emmanuel Huerta) 5-2.5. Holding their opponents off the scoresheet for the entire second half, Copperline Farm captured the victory behind the efforts of Active Team USPA Member Justin Daniels, who was awarded Most Valuable Player honors. Defending champions Copperline will be returning to the competition in 2021, facing three new challengers in Skaneateles, Horseware Polo Club and El Cid/BTA. The final is scheduled for Saturday, March 27 at Port Mayaca Polo Club in Okeechobee, Florida.
