REGIONAL CLASSIC-SOUTHEASTERN
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
The Regional Classic-Southeastern (formerly the Regional Classic-Southeast), is a national 10- to 12-goal tournament last held in 2022 at Sarasota Polo Club in Sarasota, Florida, following a nine-year hiatus.
In 2022, four teams competed, with Hillcroft (Vaughn Miller Jr., Whistle Uys, Mason Wroe, James Miller) and Whiskey Pond (Brent Hamill, Valentino Echezarreta, Guille Aguero, Toto Collardin, sub. Ramon Collardin) advancing to the final with 2-1 records. Whisky Pond avenged its only tournament loss to Hillcroft, dominating the second half with eight consecutive goals to secure an 11-5 victory. Relocating to International Polo School in Loxahatchee, Florida, this year's tournament features a competitive six-team lineup. Recent Florida Circuit Intra-Circuit champion Fox Den will look to carry on its 12-goal momentum against Beverly Equestrian, D'Ambrose MD, Dead End Polo/Organic Matters, Ohra Pampa Polo Team and York RE Capital. Representing Team USPA is Active Member Jack Whitman (Ohra Pampa Polo Team) alongside alumni Costi Caset (D'Ambrose MD) and Santino Magrini (York RE Capital).
