THE VENUE

Originally known as Winston Polo Club, the Orange County Polo Club (OC Polo Club) was established in 1987 at a stable near Anaheim Stadium and has been located at many equestrian facilities throughout the years. In 2015, club owner Denny Geiler purchased an older stable and built brand-new state of the art stables (Rancho Silverado Stables) and a polo facility, giving the OC Polo Club a permanent home in Silverado, California. The facility features two polo arenas, stabling for over 60 horses and a clubhouse which serves as a central gathering place for family and friends. OC Polo Club offers polo and riding lessons which are available to beginners and players of all skill levels.

THE VENUE

Poway polo is a community where for many members the experience of polo is passed down generation to generation, creating an equestrian experience for the entire family. Located picturesque Poway, California, interscholastic and adult programs have organized practice and club chukkers every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays. In addition to weekly club sponsored events, Poway Polo offers its membership the opportunity to participate in ongoing clinics and to compete in tournaments throughout the Southern California region.

Outside of organized practices and club chukkers, members have access to instruction from certified instructors, umpiring, and practice facilities seven days a week through our association with the Poway Valley Rides Association. Non-playing members are encouraged to actively participate in club social functions and fill integral roles within our club, assisting in the overall success and growth of our polo club and community.
