NATIONAL INTER-CIRCUIT CHAMPIONSHIP
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Established in 1974 and formerly named the Twelve Goal Inter-Circuit, the National Inter-Circuit Championship has become a season staple in the Florida Circuit. Hosted by Sarasota Polo Club (Sarasota, Florida) nineteen times, the 2023 edition will proudly return for a tenth consecutive year.
In 2022, the high stakes finale featured a rematch of the 2021 title game between Hillcroft (Vaughn Miller Jr., Ignacio “Nachi” Viana, Mason Wroe, James Miller) and Glen Farm (Sam Clemens, Horacio “Flaco” Lizaso, Stuart Campbell, Tommy Collingwood). Both boasting a 2-1 record entering the final, Hillcroft’s ability to capitalize on penalties and available field opportunities throughout the game provided the edge to claim the 11-8 win and capture back-to-back National Inter-Circuit Championship titles. Competing in the height of the winter season at Sarasota Polo Club, three teams will battle for the National Inter-Circuit Championship, including reigning champions Hillcroft seeking their seventh (2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022) title. Fresh off their victory in the National Outdoor Commander-In-Chief Cup, Tito's will aim for their second consecutive 12-goal championship of the season, with returning competitor Whiskey Pond rounding out the competition. Representing Team USPA, alumni Herndon Radcliff and Mason Wroe will unite on Hillcroft.
