HERITAGE CUP™
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Founded in 1986, the Heritage Cup has been held at many venues across the country including New Bridge Polo & Country Club in Aiken, South Carolina, and Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Carpinteria, California. In 2017, the tournament moved to Port Mayaca Polo Club (PMPC) in Okeechobee, Florida, where it remains today. Since establishing its home at PMPC, recent Heritage Cup titleholders include Hillcroft (2017, 2024), Skaneateles (2019), BTA (2021, 2022) and BTA/San Saba (2023).
In 2024, Hillcroft (James Miller, Ignacio "Nachi" Viana, Facundo Frayssinet, Tommy Collingwood) faced-off against SD Farms (Finn Secunda, Sayyu Dantata Jr., Facundo Obregon, Cesar "Peco" Polledo). Requiring overtime for a second consecutive year to settle the final score, Viana ultimately knocked-in the golden goal, sealing Hillcroft's 12-11 triumph and first Heritage Cup title since 2017.
This year's edition of the Heritage Cup will feature a head-to-head showdown between San Saba and ConcordEquityGroup.com at the National Polo Center - Wellington on U.S. Polo Assn. Field One. Representing Team USPA is Active Member Lucas Escobar and Graduating Member Nicolas "Nico" Escobar (ConcordEquityGroup.com) alongside alumnus Steve Krueger (San Saba).
