USPA MEMBERSHIP
The USPA aspires to congregate and highlight the special-ness of the polo community and keep the passion for the sport alive. We do this through you, our members and member clubs who appreciate the heritage and history of our unique sport. USPA Membership runs on an annual basis from January 1 through December 31 of each calendar year regardless of application acceptance. USPA Members have access to exclusive content and special offers and can easily apply, maintain and update their membership through the website. (Please not that membership fees are not pro-rated.)
For those who come together to play with or against each other–we value camaraderie and sportsmanship–both humans and horses and those who support our oldest equestrian sport in all ways.

To receive a handicap, the USPA must receive a recommendation from the Club Delegate where the member is affiliated. The USPA then verifies if the member has a handicap in any other country and will send the recommendation to the Circuit Handicap Chairman for approval. Once approved, the recommendation is forwarded to the National Handicap Chairman for final approval and entered.

The suspension of USPA Tournaments and Events will be lifted for USPA Member Clubs in locales where hosting polo matches and tournaments is permitted under applicable state and local laws, executive orders and similar decrees. The USPA Member Clubs in these locales are encouraged to follow all such requirements of their state and local authorities with respect to polo operations. In addition, we also encourage all USPA Member Clubs to take the precautions recommended by the CDC. We are preparing a detailed list of best practices for USPA Member Clubs as they return to hosting USPA Tournaments and Events and plan to circulate these guidelines within the next week. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and will notify you if we determine a different course of action is necessary.
